Who we are
Connaught Bonsai Club is a welcoming bonsai club in Galway, Ireland, connecting enthusiasts across the West as part of Bonsai Ireland.
We bring together newcomers and seasoned artists to learn, share, and grow through practical, supportive meet-ups
Hands-on sessions, seasonal workshops, and friendly critiques that focus on tree health, styling, wiring, repotting, and display. Our aim is simple: help you build skills and confidence, one tree at a time.
There’s no rigid timetable-meetings are agreed between members. Frequency changes with the season and interest (more in spring/summer). Once dates are confirmed, we post them on the Events page.
Most gatherings are in Marek's place, with occasional sessions at other venues when needed or when an opportunity arises. Details and access info are always shared in advance.
